Easy Spanish News: Famous Swiss Woman Storms Spanish Bullfight In Protest

A well-known Swiss woman recently protested the cruel practice of bullfighting in the southern Spanish city Málaga. Read about it here. She apparently works as a stripper. I did not call her a stripper to my students. In the reading I refer to her as a famous Swiss woman.

NO MAS TAUROMAQUIA
Una mujer famosa y sueca (Swiss) hizo algo que salió en las noticias esta semana. La mujer lo hizo en defensa de animales… específicamente en defensa de un toro que estaba a punto de morir.
La mujer sueca, quien se llama Amina, vive en España en una cuidad que se llama Marbella. Vive allí con su esposo.
Durante una corrida de toros (bullfight) en Málaga, ella saltó la barrera y caminó hacia el toro. Los matadores se pusieron furiosos, porque estaban a punto de matar al toro. Querían matar al toro sin obstáculos.
La sueca estaba a punto de levantar el póster que leyó NO MAS TAUROMAQUI cuando uno de los matadores agarró el póster y otro hombre llevó a la mujer fuera del estadio.
